Set Up EVA Government Integration

Quick Setup

If your hotel is in Singapore, you can enable EVA and save keys in about 3 minutes.

This guide helps you enable EVA and manage government integration settings for Singapore properties. Use Government Compliance → Singapore → STB EVA as the canonical entry point.

Before You Start​

  • Confirm your hotel can access compliance reporting features.
  • Confirm you have permission to edit settings.
  • Keep your EVA credentials ready.

Users without settings:write can view the environment but cannot change it.

Access Requirement

You only see Government Integration if your hotel plan includes compliance reporting access.

Set Up EVA Step by Step​

  1. Go to Government Compliance → Singapore → STB EVA.
  2. If the page shows setup status, follow the next incomplete step.
  3. Set Country to Singapore.
  4. Turn on Enable E-Visitor Authentication (EVA).
  5. Select EVA Environment:
    • Choose TEST only for a server-approved STB sandbox merchant.
    • Choose LIVE only with STB-approved production credentials.
    • If you choose LIVE, click Switch to LIVE in the confirmation dialog.
    • If the stored value is missing or unsupported, Streamliner shows TEST.
  6. Enter these fields:
    • Hotel Code
    • API Key
    • JWKS
    • Public Key (PEM)
    • Private Key (PEM)
  7. Click Save Government Settings for the credential fields.

The environment selection saves separately and does not replace existing EVA credentials.

✓ You should see a success message after save.

Old Settings → Government Integration links redirect to this setup page.

Sandbox test access​

Only server-approved sandbox merchants see Test access. Sandbox transactions use STB TEST and cannot contact live STB or record live confirmation. Do not switch a sandbox flow to LIVE.

Generate JWKS Keys​

Use this when you need new JWKS and PEM keys.

  1. Open Government Integration.
  2. Confirm Country is Singapore and EVA is enabled.
  3. Click Generate JWKS.
  4. Wait for the fields to update.
  5. Click Save Government Settings.

✓ You should see updated JWKS, Public Key, and Private Key values.

Save Required

Generated keys are not permanent until you click Save Government Settings.

Update Existing Secret Values​

Some secret fields can show "Configured" and stay locked. This protects existing values from being exposed.

  1. Click the matching Edit button for that field.
  2. Enter the new value.
  3. Click Save Government Settings.

Troubleshooting​

Government Integration section is missing​

What you see: No STB EVA page in Government Compliance.

Fix:

  1. Confirm your hotel has compliance reporting access.
  2. Confirm Country is Singapore.
  3. Refresh Government Compliance.
  4. Ask an admin to review plan access if still missing.

EVA fields do not appear​

What you see: You can select country, but EVA fields are hidden.

Fix:

  1. Set Country to Singapore.
  2. Open Government Compliance → Singapore → STB EVA.
  3. Turn on Enable E-Visitor Authentication (EVA).

Secret fields are disabled with "Configured"​

What you see: You cannot type into a secret field.

Fix:

  1. Click the field's Edit button.
  2. Enter the new value.
  3. Save your changes.

"Generate JWKS" fails​

What you see: Error after clicking Generate JWKS.

Fix:

  1. Retry after 10 seconds.
  2. Check your internet connection.
  3. Save and refresh the page.
  4. Contact support if the error continues.

EVA environment selection is rejected​

What you see: Streamliner rejects your TEST or LIVE selection.

Fix:

  1. Keep server-approved sandbox merchants on TEST.
  2. Use LIVE only after production access is approved.
  3. Confirm you have settings:write permission.
  4. Contact Vouch Support when the policy does not match your hotel.
