Quick Setup

Start with Passport Scan Booking Lookup and Identity Verification. Then decide whether staff should use Bulk Document Upload in Room List.

Security settings control who can complete check-in, how identities are verified, and how documents are validated.

What's Covered

  • On-Property IP Whitelist: Limit on-property check-in to approved networks and kiosks.
  • Accepted Travel Documents: See which IDs are allowed and when passports are required.
  • Identity Verification: Control Passport Scan Booking Lookup, ID Scan, Bulk Document Upload, and Facial Verification.
  • Document Checks: Enable authenticity checks and review document number warnings.
  • Guest Lost Keycard Replacement: Control whether guests can replace a lost keycard and how many replacements they get.
  • Main Guest Document Gate: Require the main guest to upload first before additional guest documents.

  1. Add hotel Wi-Fi and kiosk networks to the IP whitelist.
  2. Decide whether guests should start with a passport scan.
  3. Decide whether Room List should keep Bulk Document Upload on.
  4. Choose whether guests must smile, then decide whether to show the consent notice.
  5. Decide whether to enable document authenticity checks.
  6. Decide whether guests should be able to replace a lost keycard from Request Assistance.
  7. Decide whether additional guest uploads should wait for the main guest document.
  8. Decide whether matched document names should overwrite the guest name.
  9. Choose a document name matching mode for your risk profile.
  10. Decide whether to enable booking-name verification for partial matches.
  11. Train staff on how to respond to warnings and failed checks.
