Display Problems

Quick Fix

Most display issues take under 2 minutes. Start with Refresh, then check whether the message or layout changes.

Use this guide when the screen looks broken, buttons are missing, text overlaps, or a guest sees the wrong message.

Quick fix

  1. Reset zoom to 100% (Ctrl+0 on Windows, Cmd+0 on Mac).
  2. Refresh the page.

Clear browser cache

  1. Clear cookies and cached files.
  2. Close the browser completely.
  3. Reopen and sign in again.

Check your browser

  • Update to the latest version.
  • Try a different browser to confirm if the issue is browser-specific.

Check display settings

If the layout still looks wrong, ask IT to confirm screen resolution and scaling.

Guest Sees a Busy Message

What you see: A guest sees a message like, "We're handling a lot of requests right now."

Why this happens: AVA is temporarily rate limiting the request. The message is shown in the guest's selected language.

Fix:

  1. Wait a moment.

  2. Try the action again.

  3. If the message keeps appearing, refresh the check-in page.

    ✓ The guest should be able to continue after the request load drops.

  • ❌ Guests cannot continue check-in after retrying
